Aleko gate opener troubleshooting

In case of gate opener malfunctions, try the troubleshooting tips from the tables below. Each of them was created for a specific model or lineup. Make sure you chose the right table.

Aleko AR 900 gate opener troubleshooting

The remote control does not emit any singleCheck if the batteries are exhausted, replace them if necessary.
The opener doesn’t run. Power LED is OFF1. Make sure that the power cord is properly plugged into the mains outlet.
2. Check the fuse is blown in the control board; if necessary, identify the reason for the failure and then replace a new one.
The opener doesn’t run. Power LED is ONMake sure the photocell beam is not blocked if the photocell is used. Check the terminal 16 should be shorted with terminal 17 by a jumper wire. Please reset this jumper wire if it is loss.
The gate starts but it is immediately stop or reverse1. The selected force is too small to move the gate. Turn the Potentiometer clock-wise to increase the force.
2. Disconnect the gate from the gate operator and check that the gate slides freely without any binding.

Aleko AR2000 gate opener troubleshooting

When you open the gate by using button 1 (button 2 or button 3) which has been programmed, gate will stop in mid-travel or reverse before reaching the fully limit position.The Force Adj. (VR) is adjusted too small.Check the Force Adj. (VR). Adjust VR to increase force.
Gate is obstructed.Remove the obstruction.
The remote control operating distance is too short.Signals are shielded by the gate.Link a new antenna (1-1.2m BVR 0.75mm2) to the old antenna. Then fix the antenna on the wall vertically, make sure the total height from the top of antenna to the ground is approx. 1.5m.

Aleko AS 450 gate opener troubleshooting

ProblemCause/Solution
1. Opener does not run. Digital Display indicator is not on.• Check if all motor are properly connected and color coded. Make sure the AC input is connected.
• Check if the fuse in control board is bad.
2. Opener powers up but does not run.• Arm cable loose or disconnected. Verify that all of the wires going to the arm are secure and that the connector is properly mated to the header.
• Arm is incorrectly installed. Disconnect the motor housing from the arm and verify that the arm moves freely.
• Gate is excessively heavy or hinges are bad. Verify that the gate is within the ratings for this product. Disconnect the arms and verify that both gates swing easily. Lubricate or replace hinges as necessary.
• Bad control board. Call technical support for help with replacement parts.
3. Gate stops immediately after it starts moving.• Obstruction sensed. Check safety devices and gate for obstructions.
• Force set too low. Adjust FORCE setting until gate completes a full open/dose cycle without stop. The force setting may need to be adjusted in cold weather, as the gate will not move freely.
• Check if the MRT period is too short.
• Incorrect power.
4. Gate opens but does not close.•Photocell (PBS) is set in Control Board but is not equipped (optional). Please cancel the PBS set.
• Obstruction blocking close photo eyes, Check eyes for alignment and verify all connections and operation for safety devices.
5. Gate ignores the limit switches• Check that the limit switch is not faulty
• Check that wires to the limit switch are not shorted.
• Ensure that the motor cable is away from sources of electrical interference, such as electric fences, power lines etc.
6. Gate opens, closes or stops on its own•Ensure that the key for manual release is in the lock position.

Aleko FG300NOR gate opener troubleshooting

SymptomPossible Solution(s)
The opener does not run. Power LED flash slowly(flash once per second).1. Battery is over-dsiacharge. Check the voltage of the battery. The voltage of the battery should above 22V to make the gate opener work normally.
The opener does not run. Power LED does not ON.1. Make sure the connection between the battery and control board is correct and fastening.
2. Check the fuse in the control board. Replace the fuse if it was burnt out.
3. Check the control board. Replace the control board if necessary.
Gate moves a little and then reverse or stop1. The selected force is too small to move the gate. Turn the Potentiometer clock-wise to increase the force.

Gate opener does not run when you press the remote control1. Make sure the remote has been programmed to the control board before using.
2. The battery of the remote may be exhausted. Replace the battery and try it again.

Gate can open but does not close1. Make sure the connection of the photocell beam is not blocked if the photocell is used.

Gate automatically opens, but does not automatically close1. Setting of DIP switch #1 would be wrong. Please set the dip switch correctly according to the push/pull to opener installation of the gate opener.
